Safety & Compliance Officer
Monty ensures that our policies, procedures, and practices align with the standards set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Monty will work closely with participants, their families, and SIL house leaders to promote safe and high-quality services.
He will also review reports from our houses to stay actively engaged with daily operations, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance.
Monty brings a wealth of experience from his previous role at the NDIA, where he joined in 2018 and later advanced to a Team Leader position. His extensive knowledge of the NDIS operational landscape and his dedication to quality support will be invaluable to our team.

A message from Monty
I proudly embrace my nerd status, with gaming serving as my ultimate comfort and escape, particularly the immersive universe of the Mass Effect trilogy. Interestingly, my career path previously led me into broadcasting as a radio host for the SUN FM. This experience was incredibly fun and has left me with an abundant and fascinating knowledge of songs, singers, producers, and songwriters. Also nothing beats a perfectly cooked steak, medium rare.
I deeply cherish my job because, as a disabled Australian myself, I feel a profound connection to the people we support. Having personally
navigated the recovery and adjustments following a challenging accident, I am driven by a desire to give back the same level of care and
support I once received. This personal journey allows me to truly relate to all our participants, understanding the daily challenges, the
complex adjustments, and the strength it takes to live with a disability. It’s an honour to use my lived experience to make their paths smoother
and their futures brighter.
